  1. This is just what I have been looking for guys. Great app! Please could you consider adding a feature that allows us to resizes the lyrics display so that the full lyrics can be displayed on one page without scrolling I.e a ‘fit to page’ option. I am gonna find it hard to scroll through the lyrics while I am playing guitar and singing. This update would make it perfect for me.
    Cheers
    Neil

  2. Hi, thanks very much for making this app, just what I’m looking for!!

Any chance of making the following improvements?…

    adjust font size
    enable auto scrolling

    Thanks again!
    Phil

  3. Adjusting the font size will be available in version 1.1 – already submitted to the App Store and pending review. Thanks again!

  4. Thanks very much for making this happen. Very useful indeed! As a drummer, I often need to count off tunes at gigs. Would it be possible to add a metronome feature to Setlist that keeps track of a song’s tempo and give a visual representation of that tempo? This would help temendously. Thanks again…

  5. @James,
Thanks for the feedback! We’re definitely working hard to incorporate lots new features in upcoming releases. Keep an eye out!

  6. OK Guys, Good start, Here is my wish list.
    1. Folders for songs.
    2. Upload lyrics and songs. Either thru iTunes app window or web interface.
    3. More and better control over the font and size. The slider is wonky at best and needs improvement.
    4. Ability to delete a set?!?!
    5. The ability to choose weather or not to display the song time in the performance window.

Bugs: Sometimes when editing the song lyrics and the iPad is rotated, the screen does not rotate properly and requires an exit and restart to reset.

  7. Thanks robert!
You should be able to delete a set by swiping across in the lists of existing setlist.

  8. Great app guys, but I agree with Mr. Robert Vincent in adding folders for songs!

  9. Bug: After you add lyrics and update song. Lyrics don’t always show up in perform mood.

Navigation button to get to next song in perform mood. Shouldn’t have to exit out of song to choose next one.

Text to fit in perform and manage mood.

    Thx. Good work.

  10. @Dan

Thanks for the feedback! We’ll definitely look into that lyrics issue.
Look for an update soon that should address all of the issues you are seeing.

    Jeff

  11. Hi guy’s. Nice app. I’m a working drummer who sings. Can you believe it.
When a hole song is on screen font can be to small. It would be nice if you could add pages to a song so you could have one vers on one page, then just swipe or add a botton at the bottom to move to next page in the song. If you added auto scrolling it would have to be tempo based.
Get this thing right and it could be music app of the year.

  12. I have the updated version but it will not change font size. How can I make this happen?

  13. @mark If you have version 1.1 you should see a small T on the lower right corner of the screen when viewing lyrics. This will be much clearer in version 1.2 which has already been submitted to the store.

  14. Is there any way you could add the resize option to the setlist itself? The resizable lyrics button works fine for me (I just set it once and forget it), but only being able to see five items in the setlist (preformance mode) is frustrating. Thanks. Great app!

  15. @symon
I will definitely consider this in a future release. Thanks!

  16. Awesome app! How bout adding a way to import charts or mp3′s to each song?? Or ability to write and make notes in the lyrics section…..Or you could make this an all inclusive app for musicians… How bout a gig calendar and Twitter/Facebook update ability!

  17. Latest version crashed on launch of app, please fix I have a gig coming soon!

  18. Oh, and my wish list:

    The metronome idea was good

Songs advance through the set by themselves based on the length of the song

    Allow even LARGER text

  19. @Digitalsmgital We just submitted a fix for the crash you’re experiencing. Should be available in version 1.4!

  20. Awesome app! I’m not sure if it already has this, but is there a total running time for the set so that as we create sets for a specific time alotment, we don’t run over or under time. Thanks!

  21. Great app! Thanks for being so diligent in updating and improving the application. :-) Kudos to the indiancode folks!
    Request:
    • Edits to songs (like pasting in lyrics/adding song length) that occur *after* the initial entry of the song title do not automatically update across into the setlists one has already defined. In order to get your changes to appear, you have to delete the song from any setlists you’ve created, and re-add. It’d be nice if any changes to the master entry would appear in the setlists.
    • Another nice thing would be A-Z clickable buttons across the top of the “Songs” area to choose from, say, songs-that-begin-with-”L” (Folder idea, kinda)
    • Lastly, and perhaps this isn’t an app-specific issue, but without tweaking the sleep time for the iPad, it goes to sleep after X (user choice) minutes, and bye-bye setlist! I don’t know if an app can keep the device awake beyond what is set in the preferences? Are Setlist users just resetting their iPad’s sleep time to use the app in performance?

  22. Maybe cool or maybe stupid idea…could songs and/or sets be imported from a text or excel file? Would save ALOT of song entry in the app.

    Otherwise, it’s coming along NICELY.

  23. Hi guys I’m another fan of this App too but as a fulltime muso like manty of us here
I agree with these lads an ladies here.

could you please :- put in a auto scroll (one that seems to work ok can be found on the ultimate guitartabs app for Iphone)
:- give us a second an third text colour available for chords or notes
:- an import option to save lazy people like me from having to retype my
    library

other than that this is an awsome app with alot of potential and I love the ease of use
thanks again guys an keep up the good work.

Thanks for using Setlist. We’re definitely working hard on some new features and general awesomeness scheduled for a future release. Stay tuned!

  25. Thanks! I definitely won’t think twice about paying for an app like this!!

But it would be great if there’s a “sync” option where I can manually enter the lyrics from a computer instead? or grab it from iTunes lyrics

    Coming soon, perhaps?

  26. Thanks for an AWESOME app… You’ve made this drummer very happy with the existing features. Any additions will be icing on the cake. Would gladly pay for this app!

  27. [...] an easy way to use it to display lyrics and setlists. Today I found it… the Setlist app by IndianCode. This is a great app for musicians. No more carrying a notebook full of lyrics, and a clip-on light [...]

  28. Just got a new iPad and this app. Wow, this is great!! I do have a feature wish:
I p[lay in several bands, each with a different pool of songs. Any way to be able to have several different song databases for each different band? That would be make it less confusing to create specific sets for each band.

  29. Hi guys, this absolutely great app, i’m a singer and pianist too, so i added the lyrics and the notes, maybe it could be great be able to use at least two different Colors in the text for my tabs, also the best Will be use the Dock converter to VGA and could use what can i see in perfom, because we need some monitors for the other singer and musicians. But anyway tks for tris gorgeous app
